How Much Does Sound Cost?
It depends! Listed below are starting prices for us to provide sound in local nightclubs
Prices will increase if the show has parking or load in obstacles, if the show is a "one-off" at
an unusual location, if the show requires more equipment / time / labor / materials than an
average show in a local club would need, etc., etc., etc., so....
it's always best to contact us for a quote in advance!
Sound
Soundman running your gear - prices start at $100
Soundman & rig - prices start at $250
Lighting
When you need more than a bare bones light rig, it's not a problem!
All of the following lighting will be controlled from FOH.
Current lighting inventory includes:
2 - Daisy 420B LED light bars - sixty 1 watt LED's per fixture - 5 colors/RGBAW
4 - Chauvet Colorband Tri Bar lights - twelve 3 watt RGB LED's per fixture
4 - Blizzard Flurry Wash Movers - 36 watts of RGB LED's per mover
4 - Blizzard Puck Q6A LED cans - six 10 watt quad color LED's per can
And we're always adding new stuff!
Software - Elation Compu Live 1024EC
Control - via laptop and Novation Launchpad controller
Pricing for lighting controlled from FOH starts at $75 and can go up depending on what is needed

Partial list of things that will cause an event to cost more:
Parking / Restricted Access
* When load in is restricted for any reason, whether it be stairs of any kind, parking not available for the van and trailer within 15' of the load in door, long load in distance between door and stage area, stairs, etc,
Long Shows
* Shows that require early load in or delayed load out (our normal rate assumes 8 hours from beginning of load in to end of load out - 3 hours for set up - 4 hours for the show - approx 1 hour for tear down) Any time over that is $25/hr
Stairs
* Stairs (Already said that, but it needs to be repeated)
Multiple act shows/Open stages/Festivals, etc
* Multi act shows - usually $25 per additional act
Outdoor shows / Weather protection
* If a roof is not provided over both stage AND mixing areas, there will be additional cost for tents, tarps, plastic, as needed to protect the gear - $100 minimum
Power
* Three 20 amp circuits within 20' of the stage are required (for both indoor or outdoor shows) Generators and/or any on-site wiring necessary to provide the three 20 amp circuits is not included in the above prices
Travel
* $1/mile 1 way starting at 465
(if gig is more than 10 miles outside 465)
Backline
* Amps, and/or instruments are available (at extra cost)
* Notice is required for this as some amps and instruments are limited in supply/availability

LIVE Recording gear
Shows can be recorded w/up to 24 separate channels. The tracks can be mixed at a later date at Floodstage Studio, or we can transfer them to other media if you prefer to mix them at another facility.
The tracks are recorded as .wav files, the most universal format available.
24 bit 44.1 k files. NOT compressed!
Live recording rates
Rate to record show - $75
Rate to dump to DVD - $70 (cost of DVD's included)
Rate to dump to your hard drive - $35
(check w/me on specs for the hard drive, some will work, some won't)
